Some of the most important International projects of Innovation centre:

  1. Forum on SME Support and Banking in Lithuania and GB organised by the Centre with participation of experts from British financial institutions and consulting companies (financed by the British know-how Fund, May 1995).

  2. Preparatory work for printing and distribution of the ICECE News in Baltic region with Investments and Technology Holding (Sankt-Petersburg) and ADT-Association of German Technology & Business Incubation Centres ICECE Workgroup (Berlin), 1995.

  3. Feasibility study on establishing a Business Incubator in Kaunas conducted with Innovation Centre at Danish Technical University, Kaunas County Administration (September, 1995).

  4. Establishment of Transportation Logistics Centre in Kaunas with Berlin Centre of Scientific, Technical and Economic Information and Lviv Transportation Agency, 1996.

  5. German-Lithuanian Technology Transfer Workshop (Berlin), May 1996. The Centre was chosen to select Lithuanian RTD results to be presented at this event.

  6. The Centre is an active participant in Ecos - Ouverture project (in collaboration with counterparts from Hameenlinna, Finland), aiming at SME support as well as trade & export promotion.

  7. International Conference "Problems and Perspectives of Innovation-oriented Activity in Central and East European Countries", June 1997, Kaunas, Lithuania. Representatives from 16 countries took part in the Conference.

  8. Establishment of the Business Incubator in Kaunas, Lithuania, 1997-1998. Project partners are Kaunas University of Technology, Lithuanian Ministry of Economy, KfW, GFE GmbH and Aachen Technology Center, Germany. The project is being carried out within the German government TRANSFORM program. First tenant companies were accepted in October 1998.

  9. Tempus project (Center participates in international Tempus program project "Universities - Industry"). Creation and development of communication services in five Lithuanian universities (No. TEMPUS JEP 12125);

  10. Phare project (participation in PHARE Credo project "Teaching and consulting cycle in the area of economical and renewable energy"). Coordinator - Information fund of alternative energetics. No LTP/97/17;

  11. Leonardo da Vinci pilot project "Training network of Lithuanian Business Incubators". No. LT/99/1/088105/PI/I.1.1.b/FPC.The project was finished in May 2001. Innovation Centre was the contractor
    of the project. Together with project partners training methodology and materials "Management of Business Incubators" were developed.

  12. Leonardo da Vinci mobility project "Euro - Placements 2000".
