SMART HOUSE
PURPOSE
The project aims to use and develop new products, construction materials, building construction, construction thermal physics, building heating and ventilation, building design, automatic regulation, and information processing technologies in building of individual houses.

PROPERTIES AND COMPOSITION
In the course of the project it is planned to create and implement adaptive (regulating by itself) and economical heating and ventilation, lighting, connection, security, audio and video systems, making the most efficient use of local resources and new information technologies in construction of living houses.
Wall construction, isolating and finishing materials
Research carried out on constructions' thermal and humidity regimes of walls, heat losses in buildings, thermo insulating and finishing materials.
Heating and ventilation systems
Research on usage of renewable sources of energy for heating of living houses and energy saving ventilation systems.
Interior and furniture design
Research carried out on functionality of premises and furniture, premises design.
Usage of renewable resources of wooden fuel
Analyses resources of wooden fuel in Lithuania and perspective of wooden granules usage for heating of living houses.
Home computer
Computerised system of a living house, which controls functional systems of the house. User friendly software is being created.

APPLICATION
It is foreseen to use the results of research in design and construction of ecological and economical living houses.
