TWINKLE HIGHLY INTEGRATED PICO-FEMTOSECOND ND:GLASS LASER SYSTEM
PURPOSE
Source of intense picosecond pulses at 1 micro-meter.

COMPOSITION
TWINKLE is the most advanced version of a negative-feedback controlled active-passive mode-locking Nd:glass laser system. This mode-locking technique, combined with integrated chirped pulse amplification, ensures generation of ~ 1 picosecond pulses with energy up to 4 mJ and excellent energy and pulse-width stability. Flash lamp pump allows high order of integrity of the overall system: master oscillator, regenerative amplifier and pulse stretching-compression utilities.
With implementation of novel pulse compression and formation techniques, TWINKLE is capable to provide pulses with durations from <200 fs to 1 ps. With broad range of accessories, harmonic wavelengths 527, 351, 264 and 211 nm are accessible in both, pico- and femtosecond regimes.
