MEASUREMENT – CONTROL DEVICES PREVIOUS CONTENTS NEXT TESTER OF THE THERMOPLASTIC WIRE INSULATION PURPOSE The Tester of the Thermoplastic Wire Insulation (TTWI) is intended for inspection of thermoplastic characteristics of wire with an adhesive insulation layer. COMPOSITION AND PROPERTIES The equipment consists of a frame, drives for lifting and lowering of a load, control circuit of 4 contactosr as well as electronic control circuit of a heater. Mechanical part ensures wire contacts and supply of pressing power to the test wire. With the help of the contactors the cut-off of insulation of test wire is performed, the drive lifts up and lowers the wire-pressing load and the required temperature is reached with the help of three electric tube heaters. Rapid preparation for work (warming up to the required temperature within < 10 min.). Automated testing process. APPLICATION This equipment can be applied in the plants producing wire with adhesive insulation layer.
